Buying land and living somewhere is different from actually originating there. Bush was born outside Texas and went to college outside Texas (Yale, same as Kerry), not that it matters. Even if he were from here, he's one man. There are plenty of dumb bastards from everywhere. I'm still waiting on one solid reason why Texas is so shitty.

Like I said before, it doesn't matter who you vote for, you'll get the same results. Campaigns are always full of talk about what how the incumbent has screwed things up. We shouldn't be in Iraq; that's a fact. But now that we are, we should be smart about how we get out. Kerry could probably do it. Bush probably could, too. The fact is that any decisions made regarding Iraq are going to be influenced mainly by military advisors and the Cabinet (which, excepting Rumsfeld, Bush chose pretty well). I'm not trying to convince anyone to vote for Bush. I probably won't vote for him, but I'm sick of everybody lauding Kerry and pretending he's a great candidate. He's not, Bush is not, the election's really disappointing. I haven't got a problem with anybody voting for Kerry just to get rid of Bush, as long as they realize that's what they're doing. I wrote more here than I meant to. Sorry.
Hey Bronco, you neglected to mention that Bush is about ten million times more likely to get us into another war/mess than Kerry. This is an important factor in NOT voting for him. Bush is a war monger, Kerry is not. Bush also doesn't have a brain, and Kerry does. Bush coming from Texas is reason enough to hate the state forever, I don't know what it's going to take to get that through your head, but it's a BIG FUCKING STRIKE AGAINST YOU. Texas could have also produced Mother Teresa, Jesus, Buddha, and Lincoln, and it STILL COULDN'T BALANCE OUT THE FACT BUSH CAME STRAIGHT FROM YOU TO RUINING OUR COUNTRY! Voting for Bush is like voting for Hitler - DON'T DO IT! That is all.

That's my major concern with Bush getting re-elected - which he probably unfortunately will. I think they are grooming Saudi Arabia to be the next war torn country in his war against terrorism (aka quest for wealth and revenge.) Of course, it could also be Syria, or Iran.
I predict Bush is going to make someone SO mad that "they" finally nuke the west coast. Will nuclear missles be intercepted before they hit us in California? You mean just like the planes that hit the WTC were intercepted? Not if it should happen to occur while he's reading to first graders.
